Terms of Service

The rules for using Carrom Live, including tournaments, scoring, and YouTube livestreaming.

Last updated September 4, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Carrom Live websites, portal, score links, streaming tools, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

Carrom Live helps clubs and organizers run carrom tournaments and helps players view scores, profiles, and optional livestreams. Features may include roster management, matchups, standings, knockouts, public score entry links, WhatsApp login for players, and YouTube live streaming integrations.

2. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must provide accurate information and keep credentials and OTP access secure.
  • Portal users must only access clubs and tournaments they are authorized to manage.
  • Players signing in with WhatsApp must use a phone number they control.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for content you submit (names, scores, stream titles, and similar).

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Misuse score links, impersonate others, or falsify results.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems.
  • Abuse messaging, APIs, or streaming features (spam, harassment, or illegal content).
  • Use the Service in violation of applicable law or third-party terms (including YouTube and Google terms when you connect those services).

4. YouTube and Google features

Some features require connecting a Google / YouTube account. Those features are optional. If you connect YouTube:

  • You authorize Carrom Live to use YouTube API Services to create and manage live streams and related resources you request.
  • Your use of YouTube through Carrom Live is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
  • You are responsible for complying with YouTube policies for live content on your channel.
  • You can revoke access at any time in Carrom Live (where offered) or in your Google Account permissions.

5. Content and score data

Clubs and users retain rights in content they submit, and grant Carrom Live a license to host, display, and process that content as needed to operate the Service (including public pages and score overlays you enable). Public score links and tournament pages may be visible to anyone with the link or URL.

6. Third-party services

The Service may rely on third parties such as hosting providers, databases, messaging providers (for example WhatsApp via Twilio), Google Places, and YouTube. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, accurate third-party data, or that livestreams will always succeed (network, device, and YouTube availability are outside our control). To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Carrom Live and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $100, if you have not paid us.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users, or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account-related deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
